Salesforce’s Winter ’27 announcement Monday identified a recurring agent problem: a new agent knows nothing about how the organization works. Salesforce is answering with more than 100 reusable Agent Skills plus plug-ins that package instructions, connections, hooks, and configuration.
OpenAI brought the same principle closer to individual workers last week. ChatGPT Work can now launch tasks from new Gmail or Slack activity and pause when an action needs approval.

Context is the material the agent needs: contracts, commitments, account notes, service history, and examples of good work. The harness is the setup that controls the job: approved sources, permissions, schedules, checks, stopping rules, and approval gates.

Build a standing client-review workspace
Suppose you manage a dozen client accounts. Before each meeting, you search email, the CRM, shared files, support records, and previous notes. Dates conflict. Promises hide inside long message threads. A polished summary built from incomplete material can send the meeting in the wrong direction.
Create a dedicated client-review project. Connect the calendar, email, CRM, shared drive, and support tools your plan and workplace allow, beginning with read-only access. Keep stable material inside the project, including your account-risk rules and one strong example packet. Let the agent retrieve the changing records directly.
Every packet should include:
- Meeting purpose, attendees, and recent developments
- Open commitments with owner, due date, status, and source
- Contract dates, unresolved service issues, and conflicting records
- Decisions you need to make and questions you should ask

Test the harness before scheduling it
Run the assignment on one account you know well. Test it again on an account with incomplete or conflicting records. It passes when it finds the commitments you already know, cites usable sources, catches the conflict, excludes unrelated material, and stops before changing or sending anything.
For managers and owners: Share the approved template and scoring rules. Each employee should connect only the accounts and apps they are authorized to use. Review the first five packets together and revise the instructions when the same error appears twice.
