Prompts for Collaborative RFPs, Creating Digital Products, and Marketing

What Is Worse: Evil or Stupid?

This is the question I'm pondering as AI nears an important inflection point for our species. And to tell you the truth, I'm not sure which of those two options I prefer anymore.

Evil sets out to do harm. It knows its purpose, and it goes for it. Stupid, which I also equate with laziness since most stupidity is brought on by it, lacks the proper ingenuity to be equally respected.

It simply sits around and expects us to take care of it.

There's no sense of obligation to exert itself into the Order of Things or The Social Contract. It doesn't learn, it doesn't seek new experiences, it doesn't take care of responsibilities.

Evil at least decides on a path and commits to it.

A small part of me can respect that. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that most of the harm caused in our world has not come from Evil itself but from the Laziness and Stupidity that enables it.

Misinformation spreads because we turn off our brains and accept a link or post without checking sources.

Division happens because we embrace our Confirmation Biases with zero attempt at truly listening and considering others' viewpoints.

Dictators rise because large groups of people buy their bull, and shout down any kind of speech they don't agree with.

Today, a similar fault line splits our approach to artificial intelligence.

There’s “good AI”:  models that flag breast cancer earlier than any radiologist and algorithms that predict crop failures before a single plant withers.

There’s “bad AI”:  deep‑fakes that erode trust, autonomous malware that never sleeps, profiling systems that double‑down on historic bias, malicious Facebook accounts that engagement-farm with fake news that sounds real.

Brainfork Lets You Power AI with Your Own Data

Brainfork lets power users keep their hard-won knowledge close to the vest while still harnessing it for smarter AI workflows. Spin up a personal “MCP” RAG server in seconds, plug in your favorite agents (Claude, Cursor, custom pipelines), and watch them query a trove that lives entirely under your control—no third-party cloud peeking in.

Early testers are using Brainfork to auto-surface Harvard Business Review articles that match their interests, log architectural decisions on the fly, and even have AI challenge them with their own past opinions.

Encrypted at rest and in transit, the platform is marching toward a full zero-knowledge model, so you own the data and the insights alike.

Sign up during the public-beta window and the entry-level plan stays free forever—perfect for building a truly private, ever-growing knowledge brain.
