Newsletter drafting, 'Deep Work,' and Job Description Prompts

  • $300K “Growth Consultant” Hormozi-style prompt: System prompt adopts an operator’s mindset (offer design, guarantees, cash-flow focus). Response format drives validation → acquisition → ops → scaling, with concrete metrics and zero fluff. Swap in your market, capital, and timeline to generate a pragmatic launch plan.
  • Angel-wing knight image prompt (fantasy, 4K): Highly detailed scene spec for ultra-realistic fantasy renders: reflective silver armor, divine lighting, dramatic clouds, chrome reflections. Good test case for cinematic composition, specular highlights, and HDR lighting across image models.
  • Newsletter drafting process + starter prompts: Workflow: define audience/topic/tone, generate draft, personalize, add visuals, and end with a clear CTA. Includes starter prompts for product launches, events, and services—useful scaffolding for consistent, on-brand internal or client emails.
  • Deep Work focus hacks as AI prompts: Turns Cal Newport’s principles into prompt patterns that design distraction-free sessions, define “depth metrics,” purge shallow work, and structure progressive overload for attention. Practical examples show how to script a week-long Deep Work sprint you can run directly with ChatGPT.
  • “Job Description” prompt for consistent outputs: A compact framework—ROLE + TRAITS + PURPOSE + STYLE/CONSTRAINTS + GOAL—that makes the model behave like a defined collaborator. Why it works, when to stack roles, and pitfalls of over-specification, with fill-in templates you can reuse across ideation, productivity, and technical tasks.

Why AI Literacy Is No Longer Enough

And What It Means for the Next Two Years

Today, I spent a lot of time spinning my wheels.

It's always like this on four-day weeks that start on a Tuesday. You can never, ever escape Monday. It will just make its presence known on other days, no matter what.

Anyhow, the main question bothering me now is how deep an impact AI will have on jobs, and how best to prepare for that locally.

I suspect job displacement will become a serious issue in the next two years, and if all you're doing is using AI to help you word things, you're gonna be in a world of hurt.

My goal is to educate, to get others comfortable with using AI to enhance themselves, and to make a reasonable living doing it.

This last part had me thinking extra hard today, particularly about nonprofit-versus-for-profit, and which one of those pathways might be right for me.

I love the idea of training as many people as possible through a nonprofit. But you’ve also got to pay the bills, ya know?

These are the types of questions worth wrestling with because they confront the inevitable changes coming and help us position ourselves for the world beyond work as we know it.
