At just 17 years old, high school senior Zach Yadegari is the CEO of Cal AI, a fast-growing AI-powered nutrition app challenging established industry players with its innovative features and unique marketing strategies.

Yadegari's journey into entrepreneurship began early, teaching coding at age 10 and, later, building an unblocked gaming site with 5 million users during COVID-19, which he sold for a six-figure sum.

With Cal AI, he has harnessed AI-driven image recognition technology to simplify calorie tracking, overcoming the tedium he found in traditional apps like MyFitnessPal. Since its launch in May 2024, Cal AI has achieved over 1 million downloads and $12 million in annual revenue, with a team of 17 employees.

Yadegari's approach to scrappy influencer marketing has helped the app resonate strongly with college students aged 15-25, although he is planning expansions to reach older demographics.

As he considers a gap year post-graduation, Yadegari envisions a future for Cal AI with enhanced AI accuracy, broader user demographics, and new marketing tools to support other products in gaining visibility.

AI Calls the Senate, Presidential Elections (POLL)

An AI analysis by Bonus Code Bets forecasts that Republicans will gain control of the Senate with 51 seats, flipping key Democratic seats in West Virginia and Montana. AI-based predictions, using polling and demographic data, suggest Republican Jim Justice will win West Virginia's open seat, while Republican Tim Sheehy is expected to unseat Democratic incumbent Jon Tester in Montana.

Currently, Democrats hold a narrow Senate majority, but these projected shifts would give the GOP control. In a related presidential race prediction, the same AI model narrowly projects Kamala Harris winning the presidency with a slim Electoral College lead over Donald Trump, underscoring a closely contested election.

The AI predicts she will do it with 276 Electoral College votes to Donald Trump's 262. Bonus Code Bets used ChatGPT for the analysis, which considered polling data, demographics, and historical election results in projecting Harris to win key swing states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Nevada, while Trump would take Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina.
